За інформацією відділу регіональної статистики Головного управління статистики в Хмельницькій області заборгованість із заробітної плати по місту Хмельницькому на 1 вересня 2008 року становила 872,9 тисяч гривень. В результаті оперативно вжитих управлінням праці та соціального захисту населення заходів на 1 жовтня вона зменшилась порівняно з попередньою звітною датою на 704,6 тисяч гривень становить 168,3 тисяч гривень. У переліку наявно 4 підприємства.
Станом на 1жовтня управлінням праці та соціального захисту населення проведено 195 планових перевірок щодо додержання законодавства про працю (96 - первинних, 99 - повторних).
